Children’s
Class: Easter Bunny Cans ~ Saturday, March 13th, 9-10am. Each child
will make an adorable Easter bunny from a metal can. Ages 5-12+. Pre-registration

“Oils, Ointments and Salves” - Friday, March 19th 6pm. Learn
how to make our own massage oils, herbal ointments and skin salves.
Master Herbalist, Jennifer Guise will lead this informative workshop.
She will also discuss the benefits/uses of various oils, helpful herbs
to include in your ointments and salves, and a special garlic application
that is wonderful during flu season. Pre-registration and payment required.

We’ll discuss the basics of seed starting and how to care for
the plants as they grow. Each child will start seeds for his or her

Garden Ornaments ~ Monday, May 17th & Thursday, May 20th, 6-7:30pm.
In this 2 part class, each participant will create 2 garden ornaments
that look like mushrooms using hypertufa (a mixture of sand, perlite,
peat moss and cement). Please bring a pair of sturdy Children’s Homeschool Class: All About Peanuts! ~ Wednesday, May 26th, 1-2pm. In this class we’ll learn almost everything there is to know about peanuts! Each child will plant a peanut to take home, we’ll have peanut butter ice cream, talk about growing and harvesting your peanut plant, have a peanut scramble, play peanut games and more! Ages 5-12+. Series: “Culinary Herbs For Healthy Living” ~ Friday, June
4th, 6pm. Instructed by Master Herbalist Jen Guise. Learn how to make
“Dr. Furman’s Anti-Cancer Soup” and a healthy flower
salad! Topics will include the benefits of green drinks, and the history
of medical uses for culinary herbs that you already have in your own
kitchen. Plus, we’ll have some great recipes and ideas on how
to incorporate health promoting foods in the recipes you already use.

and trough and conifer expert, for this fun hands-on workshop for making
hypertufa troughs. Each participant will make one of these fascinating,
stone-like planters that are perfect for creating a miniature landscape
of alpine plants, rocks and dwarf conifers. Pre-registration and Ladies Garden Party
~ Thursday, June 17th, 6-8pm. Get away for an evening of relaxation
and fun! Sample bath and body products, taste some great gourmet foods,
check out new arrivals of jewelry and accessories as well as new arrivals

“Teas, Decoctions, Tinctures and Poultices” - Friday, June
18th 6pm. Learn how the early pioneers used simple poultices for serious
issues. Master Herbalist, Jennifer Guise will lead this informative
workshop. Learn how to properly prepare a tea (for example: some herbs
are best cool steeped), how to make a decoction, and how to make your

23rd, 1-2pm. In this class we will make bath salts and bath bombs to

Fee: $10.00 Concrete Leaf Class ~ Wednesday, June 30th, 6-7:30pm. Leaf casting is great fun and easy to do. In this class you will learn the tricks to create a cement mold of a plant leaf. The leaf’s natural depressions and veins are captured in cement mix. They can be painted and used as art for on the wall, as stepping stones or bird baths. In this class we will make 2 leaves and discuss the various ways they can be painted later at home. Please bring a pair of sturdy rubber gloves. Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $15.00 |

bird bath and base from rhubarb leaves (on July 12th), then return after
the bird bath is cured (on the 14th), to finish their projects. Wear
old clothes so you can enjoy “playing in mud”. Please bring
