NOVEMBER
Soup & Bread Luncheon ~ Thursday, November 3rd, 11am. This tasty luncheon will comfort and warm you from the inside out! Enjoy a lunch featuring several different kinds of soups and breads -- all made right here in our kitchen. Lunch will also include dessert and drinks. Recipes will be available -- great ideas for holiday entertaining! Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $10.00

Basic House Plants 101, 6pm ~ Thursday, November 3rd. Join our house plant expert, Patti Suhocki for this fun and informative program on everything you ever wanted to know about house plants, including care, transplanting, growth habits and propagation. Each participant will take home a plant. Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $10.00

Pruning Techniques for the Homeowner ~ Saturday, November 5th, 10:30-12:00pm. Join Michael Larkin and learn the when, where and why of pruning! This class will demonstrate and discuss the various methods of pruning small trees and shrubs, when certain plants should be pruned and how proper pruning can produce a healthier, more attractive and longer-living plant. (Dress appropriately, this class will go outside). Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $5.00

Children’s Homeschool Class: “Soap Making”~ Wednesday, November 9th, 10-11am. Each child will make a 3-layered bar of soap to take along home. Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Pre-registration required. Register at andrea@ashcombe.com. Fee: $5.00

Holiday Open House ~ Saturday, November 12th. Join us for creative holiday decorating ideas, recipes, crafts and so much more!

Children’s Homeschool Class: “Turkey Napkin Rings & Turkey Pins” ~ Wednesday, November 16th, 1-2pm. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we will make napkin rings and pins for a festive holiday table. Ages 5 and up. Please wear old clothes. Pre-registration required. Register at andrea@ashcombe.com. Fee: $5.00

Children’s Class: “Making Decorative Potpourri Candles” ~ Saturday, November 19th, 9-10am. Each child will make a candle decorated with colorful potpourri and dipped in wax. Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Pre-registration required. Fee: $5.00

Topiary Workshop ~ Tuesday, November 30th, 1pm. In this class, each participant will make a beautiful single stem and ball topiary using flowers, twigs and pods. The stem will be made from cinnamon sticks or a crooked branch. The base will be terra-cotta. Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $35.00

Pine Wreath Workshop & Luncheon ~ Thursday, December 1st , 11am. Enjoy a delicious lunch of assorted salad sandwiches, chips, macaroni salad, a bakery tray and drinks; then make a beautiful fresh wreath from assorted greens, pine cones, flowers holiday embellishments and a bow. Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $35.00

Bow Making Workshop - Monday, December 5th, 11am. Learn how to make fabulous bows with our floral designer, Nedra. Each participant will take home several hand made bows. Refreshments will be served. Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $25.00

Glass Ornament Workshop (for adults) ~ Wednesday, December 7th, 2pm Each participant will decorate a set of 6 glass ball ornaments with paints and flowers. Tons of fun! Great gift idea. Refreshments will be served. Pre-registration and payment required. Fee: $25.00
