Fall Harvest Days Oct. 1, 6-9, 13-31 Mon-Sat. 9-6pm, Sun. 11-4
Bring the whole family to our expanded event area! One price for everything: hayride, field games, hay slides, corn maze, animals and more! Carry on Fall traditions, and make new memories in 2017. Grab a flyer at the registers for all the details.

 

Homeschool Class: Decorate and Plant A Pumpkin Wed, Oct. 18, 1pm
Each child will scoop out a small pumpkin, decorate it, then plant it for a beautiful fall centerpiece! Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration required. Fee: $8.00

Pruning 101 Sat, Oct. 21, 10-11:30am
Join Michael Larkin and learn the when, where and why of pruning! This class will demonstrate and discuss the various methods of pruning small trees and shrubs, when certain plants should be pruned and how proper pruning can produce a healthier, more attractive and longer-living plant. (Dress appropriately, this class will go outside). Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $10.00

Gourmet Foods Luncheon Mon, Oct. 23, 11am
This tasty luncheon will comfort and warm you from the inside out! Enjoy a lunch featuring several different kinds of soups and breads — all made right here in our kitchen. Lunch will also include dessert and drinks.  Recipes will be available — great ideas for holiday entertaining! Preregistration and payment required.  Fee: $15.00

Pumpkin Chuckin’ Sat, Nov. 4, 10-2pm
We need to do something with our leftover pumpkins, so we invite you to have a fun time chuckin’ ‘em! Climb up on one of Monroe Fire Company’s trucks to chuck your pumpkin at the target. Proceeds benefit Monroe Fire Company. Fee: $4 to chuck one of our pumpkins, $2 to bring and chuck your own.

Basic Essential Oils with doTERRA Sun, Nov. 5, 1:30pm
Have you thought of trying essential oils? Now is your chance to learn the basics. In this class hosted by doTERRA advocates, you’ll learn the benefits of essential oils and how to use them. Class is free to attend. Preregistration required.

Mommy&Me: Painted Turkey Tues, Nov. 7, 10am
Each child and parent together will make a creative wall-art turkey using different colors of paper, paint, and sponges. This class is for children 4 years and under. A parent or guardian must stay with the child. Preregistration required. Fee: $5.00

Homeschool Craft Class: Fall Luminary Wed, Nov. 8, 1pm
First, we’ll paint the inside of a mason jar, then we’ll decorate the outside of the jar with fall themed designs to create a beautiful luminary to enjoy throughout the season. Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration required. Fee: $5.00

Join us for creative holiday decorating ideas, recipes, crafts and so much more! Pick up a schedule of events at the registers.

Scarecrow to Snowman Pallet Project Sat, Nov. 11, 12:30pm
One project, two seasons! This is a must have decoration for Fall and Winter because it is reversible – put it out for Fall and simply flip it around come winter time! This project will require basic painting skills, and a touch of creativity. We will paint one side as a scarecrow and the other as a snowman. Light refreshments will be provided. Fee: $50.00. Preregistration and payment required.

Children’s Craft Class: Scarecrow & Snowmen Magnets Sat, Nov. 11, 10am
We’ll make cute scarecrow and snowmen magnets to display on the fridge, using popsicle sticks. We will also have a holiday snack! Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration required. Fee: $5.00

Gourmet Foods Luncheon Thurs, Nov. 16, 11am
Tired of Turkey? Before your Thanksgiving meal, you might need some ideas for all the leftovers! During our luncheon, we will sample different dishes that will add a new spin on leftovers. We’ll try different main dishes, appetizers, and drinks will be available. Recipes will be available too! Fee: $15.00. Preregistration and payment required.

Terrarium Workshop Sat, Nov. 18, 11am
Each participant will make their own terrarium to take home. Fee is $5.00 plus plants and supplies.

Fairy Garden Workshop Sat, Nov. 18, 1pm

Homeschool Craft Class: Clothes Pin Turkeys Wed, Nov. 22, 1pm
In this class, we will make adorable turkeys to use as place settings for the Thanksgiving table, or just to decorate your room for Thanksgiving! We will be using clothes pins and a variety of papers. Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration required. Fee: $5.00

Bird Bazaar Sat, Dec. 2, 10-3pm
Are you looking to attract more birds to your yard? If you’re just starting out, or you’re looking to attract new types of birds, join us to see our great products and to speak with our knowledgeable staff. We have a wide selection of bird seed and feeders available and want to tell you more about them! There will be great sales on select items and special guests here to discuss what you can do for your feathered friends. Mommy&Me: Salt Dough Christmas Tree Ornament Tues, Dec. 5, 10am
Each child and parent together will decorate a freshly made salt dough ornament with fingerprints, paints and more! This class is for children 4 years and under. A parent or guardian must stay with the child. Preregistration required. Fee: $5.00

Homeschool Craft Class: Button Wreath Wall Hanging Wed, Dec. 6, 1pm
In this class, we’ll make a gorgeous wall hanging using buttons, glue and ribbon. A beautiful Holiday accent! Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration required. Fee: $8.00

Ladies Night Wed, Dec. 6, 5-8pm
This special evening is filled with lots of great holiday ideas and treats! We’ll have gourmet food sampling, live decorating demonstrations, a special meal in our Country Cafe and so much more. Don’t miss our special workshops either!

Succulent Log Planter Wed, Dec. 6, 6:30pm
Using a unique cement log planter, you will create your very own succulent planter to take home. We will provide all the containers, plants, and soil. Fee: $40.00 Preregistration and payment required.

Children’s Craft Class: Making Ornaments Sat, Dec. 9, 10am
We’ll get crafty and make our own ornaments, for your Christmas tree or to hang anywhere in your home. During this class, we will make 3 different ornaments: a button star, a ribbon Christmas tree, and an ‘ugly’ Christmas sweater. Please dress in old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $12.00

Succulent Frame Planter Sat, Dec. 9, 2pm
Make a work of living art! We’ll plant a variety of succulents into a frame that you can then hang on the wall. The frame, tools, soil, and plants will be provided and we will walk you through the assembly and planting of your frame. We will use staplers and drills during the class to put it all together. Frames will be approximately 8×10 inches in size. Fee: $50.00. Preregistration and payment required. *Frame styles will differ from that pictured here, and plants will need time to root before hanging vertically.*

Pine Swag Workshop Mon, Dec. 11, 5pm
Make a Fresh Pine Swag to put on your door, window, mantle…or anywhere! We’ll use assorted greens, flowers, holiday embellishments and bows. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $25.00

Pine and Candy Cane Wreath Tues, Dec. 12, 11am
Make a festive holiday wreath from assorted greens, candy canes, and finish it with a bow. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $35.00

Terrarium Workshop Sat, Dec. 16, 11am
Each participant will make their own terrarium to take home. Fee is $5.00 plus plants and supplies.

Homeschool Craft Class: Fresh Pine Wreath Wed, Dec. 20, 1pm
Each child will create a fresh pine wreath from scratch using assorted greens, then decorate it with flowers and candy. Please wear old clothes. Ages 5 and up. Preregistration required. Fee: $10.00
