Bring the kids for Story Time! – January 12 & 26 in the greenhouse, starting at 10:30am.

We will have milk and cookies from our bakery too.  FREE to participate.

 

Terrarium & Fairy Garden Workshop Sat, Jan. 20, 11am

Participants can make either an elegant Terrarium or a cute Fairy Garden! Fee is $5.00 plus plants and supplies.

Gourmet Foods Luncheon  Thurs, Jan. 25, 11am
This tasty luncheon will comfort and warm you from the inside out! Enjoy a lunch featuring different kinds of soups and breads – all made right here in our Cafe. Lunch will also include dessert and drinks. Recipes will be available. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $15.00

 

 

Suet Making Class for Adults Sat, Jan. 27, 1pm

Each participant will learn about bird feeding and will make several suet cakes to take home. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $10.00

Children’s Craft Class: Suet Making Wed, Jan. 27, 10am
In this class, each child will learn about feeding our feathered friends and will make a suet cake to take home to feed the birds! Please wear old clothes. For children 5 – 12+. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $10.00

Food Drive to benefit New Hope Ministries – Donations accepted the entire month of February
What they need: canned goods, non-refrigerated foods, toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, etc.

 

Mommy & Me: Snowy Tree Tues, Feb. 6, 10am
Each child and parent together will make this adorable winter scene by painting with bubble wrap! This class is for children 4 years and under. A parent or guardian must stay with the child. Preregistration required. Fee: $5.00

 

 

 

Children’s Craft Class: Soap Making Wed, Feb. 7, 1pm
Each child will make 2 bars of soap to take home! We’ll melt and pour soaps, scents, dyes and flowers. Please wear old clothes. For children 5 – 12+. Preregistration and payment required. Fee: $10.00

The HOT New Roses of 2018 – Sat, Feb. 10th 1pm
Our Nursery manager will tell you about the new roses we’ll have this spring as well as tips to have your roses looking their best. A special discount off spring roses will be waiting for you when you attend! Fee: $10

A lesson on bone broth: Our Cafe cook will show you how easy it is to make homemade bone broth. We’ll even sample a finished soup and provide recipes – $10

 

 

 

Indoor Herb Gardening, Sat, Feb 17. 2pm

Learn how to plant and care for fresh herbs over the winter. Each participant will take home a few potted herbs – $25

 

 

Presidents’ Day Celebration – Mon, Feb. 19
Bird Seed Ornament: ALL DAY Kids can make a bird seed ornament at the craft station – FREE

Job Fair – Sat, Feb 24 11am – 1pm
Do you like getting dirty and talking about gardening? We’ll pay you for it! Come to our Job Fair to meet our department managers and apply for a position.
